Terms of Service

These terms describe the rules for using Typeframe, including user content, billing, acceptable use, and beta availability.

Effective 2026-05-11Reviewed 2026-05-11

The service

Typeframe is a SaaS product for turning speech videos into word-timed typing-caption MP4 exports using transcription, typography controls, and Remotion rendering.

Typeframe is currently in cloud beta. Features, limits, pricing, and availability may change as the product is validated and prepared for launch.

Accounts and user content

You are responsible for your account and for all media, transcripts, captions, presets, and other content uploaded or generated through your account.

You must own or have permission to process any video, audio, images, text, brands, or other materials you upload. You grant Typeframe the limited permission needed to host, process, transcribe, render, and display that content for the service.

Acceptable use

Do not use Typeframe to upload, create, or distribute:

  • Illegal, infringing, counterfeit, or stolen content.
  • Content you do not have rights or permissions to process.
  • Malware, spyware, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or regulated content.
  • Content that would violate Lemon Squeezy's prohibited product rules or payment processing restrictions.

We may suspend or remove access when needed to protect the service, users, providers, or legal compliance.

Billing and cancellation

Paid subscriptions use Lemon Squeezy hosted checkout. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record for payment processing, tax, fraud checks, receipts, and customer billing flows.

You can cancel a paid subscription through the customer portal when available. Cancelled subscriptions keep access until the end of the paid billing period unless the account is suspended for misuse. Refunds are handled under the Refund Policy.

Availability and liability

Typeframe is provided on an as-available basis. We work to keep uploads, transcription, previews, and render jobs reliable, but beta software can fail, change, or be interrupted.

To the extent allowed by law, Typeframe is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service.
