Refund Policy

First paid subscription charges are eligible for review within 7 days when usage is still within fair-use limits. One-time top-ups are reviewed only when accidental and unused.

Refund eligibility

You can request a review of your first paid subscription charge within 7days of purchase when the account is still within Typeframe's fair-use threshold.

Fair use means both of these are true:

  • Fewer than 10 completed export minutes.
  • Fewer than 30 transcription minutes.

Refunds are not available for accounts that violate the Terms, abuse usage limits, or request a refund after using a meaningful portion of the service.

One-time top-ups are reviewed only when the purchase was accidental and the added quota has not been used.

Renewals and cancellation

Subscription renewals are generally non-refundable. Typeframe does not provide prorated refunds when a subscription is cancelled mid-cycle.

Cancelled subscriptions keep access until the end of the paid billing period.

Provider handling

Payments are processed by Paddle as merchant of record for hosted checkout, subscription billing, tax, fraud checks, and customer billing flows.

Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and may take time to appear with your payment provider.

How to request a refund

Email support@typeframe.app from the address used for purchase. Include your Paddle receipt email, transaction reference if available, and the reason for the request.
